        Announcement of Zhejiang Shuren University on the Recruitment of High-level Talents in 2021

         

        Zhejiang Shuren University is a full-time university approved by the Ministry of Education and a provincial public institution organized by the Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. Founded in 1984, it has two campuses now - the Gongchen Bridge Campus on the side of the beautiful West Lake in Hangzhou and the Yangxun Bridge Campus in Shaoxing, which totally cover the area over 1230 mu (about 82 hectares) with the construction area of 650,000 square meters, accommodating more than 17,000 full-time students.

        Guided by disciplinary development, ZJSRU has 12 secondary schools led by academicians, including Shulan International Medical College, covers 8 major discipline fields, i.e. medical science, literature, economics, management, science, law, engineering, and art. There are also 4 provincial level first-class academic subjects, 2 provincial-level research bases--the Belarus Center for Country and Regional Studies under the Ministry of Education and the Provincial Research Center for Modern Service Industry, 2 provincial industry platforms, 1 provincial innovation team and 25 university-level research institutions and platforms. The university has has carried out joint training of master students with Zhejiang University of Technology, Zhejiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Changzhou University and others. Based on the strategic needs of interdisciplinary development, the university is accelerating the construction of the institute of interdisciplinary science, the "medicine treatment--artificial intelligence--information technology" study and modern service industry bases and other platforms.

        In recent years, the university has introduced and trained more than 70 high-level talents, including national outstanding teachers, provincial famous teachers, top young talents of provincial "Ten Thousand Talents Program", and provincial young and middle-aged academic leaders. At present, Shuren University employs more than 10 high-level talents such as academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, foreign academicians, national outstanding youths, national famous teachers, new century talents of the Ministry of Education, and experts enjoying special allowances from the State Council to provide strong talent guarantee for the growth of students and the development of the university.

        I.Classification of Talents

        According to the discipline construction and professional development needs of the university, the talents to be recruited are divided into three categories: discipline leading talents, discipline leaders, and teaching and research backbones (including doctors and the talents with deputy senior titles).

        1.Discipline Leading Talents (CategoriesA-C )

        Category A: Academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering, the outstanding talents of national "Ten Thousand Talents Program", and winners of the first prize or above of the three major National Science and Technology Awards (ranking first), and the members of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences or the high-level and top talents with considerable academic attainments in China and abroad.

        There is no restricti ons on the age, academic qualifications, professional and technical posts,experiences and other conditions for the above talents.

        Category B:National level high-end talents, including the leaders of the creative groups of National Natural Science Foundation of China, leading talents of national “Ten Thousand Talents Program”, and specially-appointed professors of “Chang Jiang Scholars Program” of the Ministry of Education, the gainers of National Nature Science Foundation for Distinguished Young Scholars, and the winners of the second prize of the three major National Science and Technology Awards (ranking first); or the high-end experts and scholars with corresponding academic attainments in China and abroad.

        There is no restrictions on the age, academic qualifications, professional and technical posts,experiences and other conditions for the above talents.

        Category C: National high-end young talents, including the top young talents of national “Ten Thousand Talents Program”, young scholars of “Chang Jiang Scholars Program” of the Ministry of Education, and gainers of the National Nature Science Foundation for Distinguished Young Scholars, or the high-end experts and scholars with corresponding academic attainments in China and abroad.

        The above talents must have doctor degree, but not limited by age, professional and technical posts, experiences and other conditions.

        2.Academic leaders (Category D)

        Candidates of the “Hundred Talents Program” of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, candidates of the “Ten Thousand Talents Program” of Zhejiang Province, provincial and ministry-level high-end talents including the specially-appointed professors of Qianjiang Scholars of colleges and universities in Zhejiang Province, or the high-end experts and scholars with corresponding academic attainments in China and abroad.

        The above talents must have doctor degree, but not limited by age, professional and technical posts,experiences and other conditions.

        3.Teaching andresearch backbones (Categories E-F)

        Category E: Talents recruited to the “posts of specially-appointed researchers” through the review of the university; talents who hold the professional and technical posts of the senior titles with certain achievements, and post-doctoral talents with overseas academic experiences, or the high-end experts and scholars with corresponding academic attainments in China and abroad.

        Talents with senior titles: Talents with professional and technical posts of senior titles and certain academic achievements.

        Specially appointed researchers: The candidates must have doctoral degrees, be no more than 40 years old (the ones of Humanities and Social Sciences could be 45 years old at most) in principle, have the study and working experiences at domestic and overseas high-level universities or research institutes, and hold the professional and technical posts of deputy senior titles (overseas assistant professor) and above in principle; they must also make achievements recognized by domestic and foreign peers, and have the development potential of upgrading attainments to a higher level through certain years of academic accumulation in the field of their subjects; their scientific research achievements in recent five years meet the job qualifications of senior titles (non-instructional ones) of this university, or the candidates make outstanding academic performance and symbolic academic achievements.

        Specially-appointedassociate researchers: The candidates must have doctoral degrees, be no more than 35 years old (the ones of Humanities and Social Sciences could be at most 40 years old) in principle, and have the study and working experiences at domestic and overseas high-level universities or research institutes; they must also make better achievements on scientific research, and have greater development potential through certain years of academic accumulation in the field of their subjects; their scientific research achievements in recent five years meet the job qualifications of deputy senior titles (non-instructional ones) of this university, or the candidates make outstanding academic performance and symbolic academic achievements.

        In principle, the candidates must be no more than 45 years old, and own doctoral degrees.

        Category F:The young scholars have make good academic achievements in the field of their subjects and meet the requirements on the full-time teachers and full-time researchers of the university. The candidates who study urgently-needed majors or the doctors with overseas academic experiences are preferred.

        3. The house-purchase subsidies are related to the period of service, and can be withdrawn at one time in advance (taxes and dues shall be borne by the talents themselves).

        4. After the specially-appointed researchersand specially-appointed associate researcherspass the assessment and the title evaluation of professional and technical posts to get promotion within the first employment period (three years), the university will offer the additional house-purchase subsidy of RMB 200,000 within the five years of talent service period subsequently.
