In the afternoon of Nov. 25, 2022, the Ninetieth Anniversary Ceremony of Zhejiang Medical Association was held in Hangzhou. The leaders, including Cheng Yuechong, Vice Governor of Zhejiang Provincial People's Government, Yao Ke, President of Zhejiang Medical Association, Cai Xiujun, Vice Chairman of Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the CPPCC and Vice President of Zhejiang Medical Association, Wang Renyuan, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of Health Commission Zhejiang Province, Jiang Yu, Member of the Party Group and Deputy Director of Zhejiang Civil Affairs Bureau, Jiang Changcai, bureau level official at level 1 of Zhejiang Association for Science and Technology, attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches. Zhao Yupei, President of Chinese Medical Association and Academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences, delivered a video speech. Lu Xincheng, the Vice President of Zhejiang Medical Association, presided over the opening ceremony. Prof. Li Lu, President of our university, Academician Zheng Shusen, Dean of Shulan International Medical College of ZJSRU, Academician Li Lanjuan, Honorary Dean of Shulan International Nursing School of ZJSRU, and Prof. Chen Zhi, Executive Deputy Director of the Academic Committee of our university, were invited to attend the ceremony.

At the conference, Zhejiang Medical Association awarded the "Leading Academic Members" to Zheng Shusen and Li Lanjuan, and the "Outstanding Contribution Award" to Li Lu and Chen Zhi, as a tribute to their contributions. Li Lu said that since its establishment, Zhejiang Medical Association had focused on the center work of "attaching importance to the activities of the Association, improving discipline construction, and promoting the development of health care", played the role of a bridge and link between the Party and the government and the people engaged in medical science and technology, and was an important association for the development of the medical science and technology and the medical career in this province, and also one of the most remarkable science and technology groups with the longest history, widest influence and most significant role in Zhejiang Province. He hoped that Zhejiang Shuren University could develop a good medical college at a high level by virtue of the rich talents and intelligence resources of Zhejiang Medical Association and make new contributions to help the construction of Healthy Zhejiang and Healthy China and improve people's health and well-being.
