The 28th Track Meeting sponsored by Working Guiding Committee of Zhejiang Shuren University, undertaken by Physical Education and Labor Education Center, associated by Department of Teaching Affairs, Department of Student Development and Services, various schools, Labor Union of the university, Youth League Committee of the university, and Department of Logistics Support was held in Yangxun Bridge Campus. The opening ceremony was hosted by Chen Xinmin, Vice-president of the university.
The 9 matrixes of delegations, the matrix of judges and the matrix of teachers and staffs entered into the field one after another in the opening ceremony. With loud slogans and orderly steps, they showed unique styles of various representative teams.
Wang Jun, Deputy-secretary of Party Committee of the university, affirmed the achievements of sports in the past year; at the same time, he wished that judges can enforce laws impartially and athletes can bring out their class.
Finally, Zhang Qing, secretary of the party committee of the university, announced the opening of “The 28th Sports Meeting of Zhejiang Shuren University”.
Athletes of Zhejiang Shuren University showed the “faster, higher, stronger and more united” Olympic Spirits in the competition, to take all their efforts. The full and delightful matches showed charge of youth. In the women 3000m competition, Wang Dayu from School of Economics and Social Welfare broke the record of the university with 12 minutes and 23 seconds.
